Romanesque in the rain on the right side of Greene Street, NYC

I walked past Cooper Union the other day and passed by the new ugly Architecture School building which disgraces Astor Place Square. A passer by commented to me that it was indeed ugly as far as he was concerned too. I walked down to Greene street, then over towards Broadway and found this beauty. It's heavy, dark, neglected and a hodgepodge of history, but I still love it. I have decided to walk and shoot reference on every street in Manhattan, so I should be busy for awhile. I like challenges.
